Why do so many people consider wool to be for winter use only?

Don’t they know that they can avoid sliding around in their summer shoe or sandal by making the upper of woolen felt?
It is so simple and so comfortable, because the wool will absorb the moist, and release it easily.
No sweat! And no bad smell! Even if you wear them on your bare feet.
