Since Thomas Glerup formed Glerups AS with his parents back in 2003 he has been working with designing, manufacturing and selling woolen felted shoes.
A lot has happened in these two decades, and just now a revolution in design and manufacturing is unfolding. Glerups AS developed a smart felting technique, and Thomas Glerup has just patented an even smarter technique, which will expand the possibilities and lower the cost od woolen shoes.
Still there are plenty of opportunities to jump the fences of traditional woolen footwear, with a bit of imagination and experience.
With modern 3D-software, we can skip a lot of the tedious and time consuming design processes, and go directly from design to toolmaking. Even the nerve-wrecking decision process is made easier by photo realistic renderings.
You can leave the whole process to us, or you can let us take over, at any stage, from your favorite designers. We will though be involved in setting for the 3D-design of your last, and the development of sole molds.
When you have settled on your design, we will translate the digital info to tools for production. Fast, efficient and safe!
